My food in print (:

East End Life Newsletter (Feb 2012)

Flavour Magazine (Feb 2012)

I've been doing a lot of "I'm 21 years old oh my god" moaning recently. I'm at the stage where I start worrying about my future and what I want to do with my life when I graduate. When I'm not thinking about food, I think about graphic design at central saint martins, and I've still got more than a year to go in my degree and to continue thinking. I do know I want to do something related to food. What that is exactly, I have no idea. But I'm happy anyway to be doing a bit of food writing for now- not paid, but it's exciting to see my food in print, and it helps generate publicity for the farmers' market. Just wanted to share this with all you lovely people who read this space (:

  4. Nice - congratulations Shuhan! That's really cool! I'd say I feel sorry for you being "21 years old oh my god", but I'm gonna be 30 this year and sometimes wish I was 21 again. Not always - but the last 9 years have just flown by. When I was 21 I think I really didn't appreciate just how enjoyable my life was - I hope you're having fun!

  11. You still have time to decide though what u wanna do in live. Graphic design and food would be my choice too, if I could do both together that would be a dream come true. I am already doing food but the graphic part is still just a hobby. hope to change that soon. =) we can always work together and open up a food magazine! ;)

  22. SH,

You write beautifully and I think coupled with your passion for food, would do great as a writer in food-focused PR agency.

The bosses were all writers for Wine & Dine magazine and are all hardcore foodies like yourself! I know coz I tried to get in as my first job out of uni.... but failed the second round of interview which was the writing test. =P I'm sure u can do better!
